This is a design idea that I have created on photoshop using my own designs for my final length for my project that is based on Psychedelia. I will combine discharge and fluorescent pigment to create bright layered pattern.

Burlesque meets Popart.

For this project I created a blind inspired by burlesque dancing and popart. I printed on to cotton with procion and discharge.

I also created samples for a nightclub wall hanging using discharge and foiling onto cotton.

I continued my ‘Music to Pattern’ project by creating a printed length for a nightclub wallhanging.

I continued my ‘Music to Pattern’ project by creating a printed length for a nightclub wallhanging.

With this project I created patterns through recording music and showing my interpretation of the music.  I used procion, pigment and foiling to create bold patterns for a menswear collection.

The film ‘Tron’  was my inspiration for this project.

I looked closely at the geometric shapes and printed with procion and pigment on to cotton.
